I also am not the best cook ,and I am worried the kids will be starving by the time I finally get home.

How can I be organised with the dc's and with the cooking, any advice would be gratefully receivedwith everythingWink.

Batch cook on your days off, I'm a SAHM but pre baby when I was working I would spend a few hours at the weekend making up and freezing meals like bolognese, curry, pasta etc. Take out in the morning to defrost, then after work just shove in the oven to heat through and make some rice/pasta. Mash can also be made in advance and frozen, making sausage and mash loads easier.

Alternatively, could they have their main meal at lunch time, and something like sandwiches or jacket potato as their evening meal?
