Paternity leave and notice period, does anyone know?

DH has to give three months notice to his current employer. His company gives two weeks paid paternity leave to him and his contract states this.

He has just been offered a new job that he is keen to take. I am due to give birth during his three months notice period - a planned C-section so will know the exact date soon.

Does anyone know if he is likely to be still entitled to the paid paternity leave if he is working out his notice period, or if terms and conditions of contract change? There is nothing in his contract that covers it and he will still be employed by them during that time.

Whether he's entitled to it during his notice period is up to the employer. If there's no condition in his contract/handbook/paternity policy saying otherwise, then the fact that he's working his notice makes no difference and he will be entitled to take it.
