Looking for a careers adviser, Cambridge area

I'm looking for recommendations for a careers adviser or tips about how to find a good one. It's for my dh, who has a well-paid IT job but is very unhappy in it and feels like he's coming to the end of the road in that field, so considering a change of direction.

We're in the Cambridge area.

is he in the BCS - some professional orgs have carrers advisors
