Any HR people ....Covering for Manager on mat leave for the 3rd time?

My manager is due to leave in August for mat leave for her 3rd baby, the past two occasions I have covered her work as she was only off for 4 months then 6 months which was manageable but not really enjoyable but got through it. This time she is planning to take the full year. When I went on mat leave for 8 months they got a temp in to assist. I just have enough hours in the week to cover my own work not to take someone else's full time job on...
I am having a meeting shortly to discuss this and they are going to ask if I can cover again, not sure if I want to this time, would it look bad if I don't want to do it, can they make me do it?
Any advice as at the moment I have a stubborn head on saying no...
Thanks

I think it depends on your contract as to if they can make you do it but you wouldn't be unreasonable to ask for an 'acting up allowance' and for a temp to come or another member of staff to cover some or all of your regular workload.

I asked for more money when asked to take extra responsibilities from someone going on mat leave and I got a temp uplift of about £2k which was nice Grin.
