Rec's for companies/brokers offering freelancers good Professional indemnity Insurance?

Hi all

It seems that my main client is now asking all sub-contractors to have professional indemnity insurance in place; given what I do, it seems like a waste of time, but they are too important to piss off.

Any thoughts on who I should go to? And any tips on what I should/shouldn't go for? Never had professional insurance in place before.

Thanks

I just want to moneysupermarket.com, called the FSB and looked at Policy Bee and chose the cheapest - Finsbury.

Obviously, only time will tell if they are any good!

Not sure if that is any help whatsoever!

Good luck.

Towergate - either through the FSB or stand alone.
They have been brilliant. Have never had to claim, but they have been able to change our policy as the businesses changed. NOBODY else was willing to cover DH for taking explosives into schools! They did and for a decent price.
They understand small business. It helps.

I used to get my PII through Lockton and the ACCA. Now I'm ICPA its integrated.
