Anybody got any advice with regards to re-training in either accountancy or HR?

I had my children quite young. I am 30 now and my youngest is 3, so I would like to get myself back to proper work.

I currently work 2 days per week in the Projects department of a bank.

With the littlest one now in nursery, this gives me a bit of time to get on with doing some extra qualifications before increasing my hours at work.

I am thinking of going into either accountancy or HR. Any help, advice, personal stories of either of these? I was thinking of doing either the AAT, level 2 course this year or the CIPD Level 3 Foundation Certificate. Good ideas? Bad ideas? I don't know where to start really.

I have a good degree in psychology. I have 'A' levels in maths, geography & french, and I have worked in the bank for 10 years now.

I really want to use this year to get some training done so that, I am ready to apply for jobs when my youngest is in school.
