Fiction writers: anyone recommend a writers' forum?

I mean, one that doesn't make you want to kill and eat everyone else on it or at least tell them that if they ever touch a keyboard again you will chop their hands off?

I have been having a rummage round for such a thing and found one or two, but the standard of work being shared and discussed is so utterly dreadful that I don't really see the point in joining in. I know that an awful lot of people who 'want to write' should probably be encouraged to take up masturbation instead, but there must be some reasonable forums out there.

DH recommends WriteWords.org.uk as generally sensible and decent quality. He did caveat that with "it's a bit quiet at the moment" however.
