I might have an interview - very exciting, but scared a bit too

I have been out of work now for just over a year. My last job was just a temp job and after the contract I found out I was PG with DC3 (I know I know not great timing) Anyway DD2 was born in Sept, then in Oct we decided to move (we were offered a house in Nov, but couldnt move till March). We knew we'd have to move far away as we couldnt get a place in our home town. So for over a year Ive been putting off looking for work. Anyway I applied for a job through gumtree on Sunday night.

I checked my mobile just over an hour ago and I had a voicemail. It was regarding the job I applied for, I need to ring them back tomorrow morning. This is the first job I have applied for since I found out I was pregnant. Its all so exciting, but scary too.

There is no point to this post, but I just wanted to get it all written down and shout about it. Before I know it I could be working again (assuming I get the job of course)

Good luck! I recently had my first interview in six(!) years. To help ease my nerves, I told myself that even if I didn't get the job, it would be good practise at the very least. The more interviews you do, the better you get at them.

you are so right bigbang Though I also think that if I dont get it, it means that there is something better for me. I also dont look at interviews as a means to see if they want me, but also as a means to see if I want to work there. ATM obviously I do (there aren't many jobs out there), but its all about seeing if we get on with each other (not the people, but me and the place/job)

Good luck!
I had a few interviews recently after 7 years out of work. Didn't get a job yet but have got decent feedback from all of them and now at least know what I need to work on.
