I'm in a sales role which is part commission based but being made redundant and am unclear whether accepting payment in lieu of notice would mean walking away from any commission paid during my notice period?
Not going to the office for my 3 months notice period has significant appeal & financial reward, but I've got a few big deals that will close over the next few months that may exceed any potential tax/travel cost savings. Or is it something I can negotiate as part of the package as me leaving immediately would also benefit them as they can get in a replacement straight away (Im part time & they need someone full time).
I have other plans so sooner the better as far as I'm concerned but I'll stick it out if it makes financial sense.
