Anyone got (government) or other funding for re-training?

At the moment I am a stay at home mum and with my DH working full time and provides for us. I am not looking for work so not drawing the benefits etc, however I want desparately to re-train as a Hypnotherapist which will cost me a few £000. Does anyone know would I be able to get funding from somewhere to do this or do I have to pay myself. As we are in a one income family funds are limited but I do not want this to stop me. Any ideas anyone, much appreciated.

What level of education do you already have ? tbh unless your dh is claiming low income related benefits, JSA or ESA I'd think it unlikely you'd qualify for any fee concession and even then funding would be limited (ie. specific accreditted courses).

Hi Lizs thanks for your reply, yes not on low income benefits etc and my own level of education is I have a degree. Heard there are banks who offer career development loans, think I will look into that.
