Do you think he means before or after taxes ? After 5 years of absence, I'm back on the job market, wish me luck !

Probably before tax. Is it a contract or self employed role?

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 05/01/2012 17:36

Before tax.

OddBoots · 05/01/2012 17:39

Before, they have no way to know what tax rate you are on.

DontCryWithYourMouthFull · 05/01/2012 17:40

Its freelance so I guess self employed !

Definitely before tax then, you pay your own via self assessment.

DontCryWithYourMouthFull · 05/01/2012 17:40

And do you think it is good ? Hours are 8-5.30 and it is 2 days contract !

Before tax

Catslikehats · 05/01/2012 17:44

Before tax and whether it is a good rate entirely depends on your job.

Good for a landscaper bad for an accountant.

ReduceRecycleRegift · 05/01/2012 17:47

before.

whether it's good depends on what it is. its not amazing money but if its a nice job then its okay money

RedBlanket · 05/01/2012 17:47

I usually take a third off to cover tax & NI, and other costs. I'd be very happy with £200 per day (marketing) especially if there was a commitment from them on number of days.

DontCryWithYourMouthFull · 05/01/2012 17:56

Its a therapist job.
