if an application form got you an interview would you re-use it - for the same employer?

it's an annual recruitment process - last year the app form got me a telephone interview and then I was invited to a morning of face-to-face interview plus exercises. I didn't make it to the final stage.

This year the app form is nearly identical - as well as standard factual stuff (which, obviously I can;t change) it comprises:

2 competency-based questions (give us an example of...) (identical to last year)
1 question seeking your analysis of an issue (this is different to last year)
2 qs abt extra-curricular stuff (identical)

I can update the extra-curricular stuff, and obviously the middle q will be different. So it won't /can't be a wholesale duplicate - but what about the other 2? should I think of new examples or reproduce what worked last year?

I think I'd just use more or less the same thing. Maybe change it around a bit, but I'd probably use the same examples at least.
