Have been day dreaming again!
If I were to (hypothetically) make and bottle sloe gin, flavoured vodkas etc. Would I need a licence to sell alcohol say, at Xmas /craft fairs? Is it the same kind of licence that you need for a shop selling alcohol.
Is it a pia and a no-goer??If I went for it - should I just try and get it stocked in specialist shops/deli's already selling alcohol therefore would already have a licence?

Huh, interesting question. I have no idea of the answer but I want to hear the answer so I'm marking my place!

I do know that, here in Belfast at least, a liquor license for a pub or restaurant costs some where around £10,000.

I know the publican license in the UK is v complex and involves police, references, health and safety and to do with responsible drinking etc etc.
I shouldn't be so lazy - I'm off to google to see if I can find out - will report back if I find anything.
