Change of hours - would I get a lunch break

I currently work three days a week and have asked to spread my hours over 4 days so I can better manage childcare committments - this would mean working 8.45 - 2.15 on three days and one full 8 hr day. Would I be entitled to some sort of break on the shorter days? I am desk based btw- thanks

I think you are entitled to a 20 minutes break for every 6 hours... so no, you will be 0.5 under the 6 hours. Having said that, could you negotiate something with your employers, as it does seem a long time to maintain concentration levels.
