CRB check - do you do it when you apply or when you get the job?

I've seen a job ad which states "an enhanced CRB check will be required".

Does anyone know - does that mean I need to arrange one while applying, or do you do it once you get the job?

TIA Smile

They will do it - the check has to be initiated by the employer.

You do it when you get the job but the job offer will be subject to CRB clearance so of you are leaving another don't hand in notice until you have it all back. Sometimes they take copies of documents at interview to save time later on then destroy those of unsuccessful candidates
