how are you doing? thought it would be nice to get a bit of a support thing going on. I had an assessment centre last week for a vac placement that might lead on to a training contract. didn;t get it 
but did get offered a one week placement in a particular dept relevant to my current work. 
. I think the difference is that it can't lead to a TC . The feedback was very positive and helpful - gave me 16/16 for my interview - despite refusing to ask me one question because I'd already illustrated the required skills, but less points on other stuff. Very keen for me to apply again next year. but they probably say that to everyone.
I have to decide where to do my GDL by next week. not at all helped by the fact that the otehr possible sources of a tc are unlikely to come to a conclusion much before late august/early sep. How on earth are you meant to juggle all this? what if you can't afford/don;t want to do it without a tc? oh it's a minefield
