Money claims online- anyone used this- Small Claims Court?

I am thinking of trying to get money owed for work I did and have not been paid for, via this. I did years back- and did have to attend court.

Has anyone used this recently and if so, where di the court hearing take place?

If I pursued this and the court hearing was in the defendant's town, it would not be worth my while as it's 120 miles away- so taking into account fuel and time it would not be worth it.

the only time I used it, the court hearing was in their town which was worth it for the money owed, but this time as I said it would be much further.

I am wondering how I would prove the case- all I have are email exchanges and my invoices- no further proof of them not paying.
