No news is good news?

Dh had interview for a job last thurs, said they were interviewing someone else on Mon as they couldnt attend on Thurs and would know by today Tues whether he had the job.

No one has rung, so does that mean that he's been unsucessful or that they've forgotten or what.

Totally confused and thought we would have an answer one way or the other today

Chase it up first thing - they may well still be deliberating. Or check to see if his referees have been approached.
I was interviewed for a job in my company last Thursday. They didn't ring me when they said they would, so I did some digging and found out that my references hadn't been chased. I rang them on Monday and they did tell me that I hadn't been successful, but asked were surprised that I had found out as they hadn't formally announced the "winner". But they still haven't sent me the official turn down letter.
Am pretty gutted about it, actually, so I do hope that your dp gets some good news.

could ring see if reference has been chased i guessed. will give that a go later.

managed to get hold of someone at 4p.m - Didn't get it then again didn't look hopeful did it!
