My hubby has set up a limited company - and I will be his company secretary - will I be eligible for SMP when we get pregnant next?

As long as you are an employee of the company and are earning enough in terms of a regular salary from that company then yes. I own my own limited company and pay myself a basic salary as an employee as well as taking dividends. As a result, when I took time off to have a baby, I got SMP which the company was able to claim back from HMRC. Your husband's accountant should be able to advise you when the time comes.
