Hi,wonder if anyone can help? am i right in thinking that if i took parental leave at the end of my maternity leave (thinking it COULD be an option) just for a couple of months when after that we would only have 1 set of childcare costs...i would't get the tax credits until the next tax year would i?
Also, if i remember rightly you get more tax credits following mat leave because of your low earnings during mat leave? This could also be an option that allows me to not return to work until my ds starts full time school.
i haven't even asked my employer yet but i just wanted to get my facts straight first!
