I was self employed from 2006 - 2009 and didn't pay tax as I didn't earn enough.
I am getting reduced child tax credits cos I they overpaid us.

No I have got a job (yay) and have been working for 5 weeks - who do I inform again? And is there a non 0845 number?

(Only asking as I don't have land line, and calls from mobile to 0845 numbers aren't included!)

Thank you.

tax credits,
If you were getting benefits the benefits office
Are you self employed or employed? if self tax office if not employer will do it.

Say no to 0845 - google it and then put the number in and it should bring up an alternative number.

see above advice.

When you start, do a P46 to get your tax code sorted out and that will reset all of the HMRC systems
