Hi, I have a six month old baby and I received company maternity pay (CMP)in addition to SMP. I know that I have to return the CMP if I do not return to work, but I have paid tax on the full amount - does my employer recoup the tax or do I need to pay the full CMP amount and then claim back the tax? Any advice gratefully received!
