I'm currently a marketing/comms manager for a local authority. All comms/marketing functions are officially at risk due to an organisational review and there is the possibility of taking voluntary redundancy. How easy have people found it to get their first clients? It's a long time since I've done agency work and had to pitch and I'm completely out of practice.
The leap into the unknown is very scary at the moment but something that I think could be worthwhile.
