Can I get a bit more detail about these if anyone can help, do I get paid for these??

I'm on mat leave, SMP 39 weeks finishes beg of oct when I am going back to work. I went part time just before I found out I was pregnant and had to work at a diff surgery as my old one needed full time and could not sustain part time hours. My old surgery is much much quieter now, part time hours would suit it (and me!!). Chap who took over from me is leaving as it is so quiet . Could I work 2 days a week using my kit days in sept before I start back officially in oct?

Then if it needs more hours I can go back to my 3 days somewhere else, hopefully it will work in my favour and suit both me and my patients (went in today lots saying 'hello''when are you coming back here etc')

I want tobe seen to help out and hopefully should work out for me and work without having to lose last bit of pay or change my hours etc??

You might be able to use your KIT days like this. Your employer would have to agree to it though and you can't force them to let you do this.

It was actually my boss who sugested it, well he asked if I would come back early and I said I couldn't (was before I knew other chap had handed in his notice) and he said I could work using my kit days as someone from head office was just doing that.

I'd rather stay off until oct but if it means working closer to home again (in same town as where I live rather than 35 miles away) I want to try if I can.
