I don't work in this field at the moment but have been helping out at my ds's nursery for a few months and want to change my job if i can. i've really been enjoying helping out and a jobs has popped up at an (unrelated) primary school for an Educational Support Assistant. I'm thinking of applying for it, but really the only experience of working in this environment is helping at ds's nursery (my sil is a school gov so i am aware of teh every child matters scheme / aim thingy) but i suspect that this will be a position snowed under with applicants. is it worth going for the job? any hints and tips? are there places where you can go to help with a cv as i've worked in the same job for over 15 years! arghhh!
