... that all those beautiful men made him feel quite physically inferior, likening it to how it must feel for female film-goers seeing beautiful women in films all the time.

I was at the thought this might be the first mainstream film to subvert the norm in that way (that I know of, anyway - happy to be corrected).

Just found it interesting and thought I'd share!

Might make him lose a bit of weight and dress better then.... and there's a male new form of underwear in an FT colour magazine I was just reading which seems to be underpants but with a high girdle bit to hold in the tummy. It made me pleased to see we're making a bit of progress.

I don't want men to suffer exactly, but I think it would be good for women if men really had a clue how judged women are, and how judged they are primarily on their looks.
