I'm not a fan of Ian Botham and I found his promotion to the House of Lords ridiculous and annoying. But I did hear this interview and was actually quite impressed by him and what he had to say.

I also found his promotion to a Lord well over the top, but I'm glad to hear that he spoke well, the remark about changing in the back of a car was a piece of realism, I've personally witnessed this, which says to me he knows what's at stake for girls/women if they don't get the same material support as the boys get.
Well done him for saying so, it still takes courage to stick your head above the parapet even now.
