Raja Miah - Birmingham Council and the gangs

I didn't want to put the 'r' word into the title! I've read a fair bit about Raja Miah on SM, but a cursory MN search didn't reveal anything to me. He's one of these gadflies who has certainly ruffled a few feathers with his campaigning. Example linked here. Can any Brum posters shed further light?

There is also a broader point about how the people of Birmingham are served when they elect a Reform-majority council, and the other parties refuse to work with them. Must be happening in a few places.

Raja's normally talking about Oldham. The councillors have only just agreed a way forward .. because it's a hung council. It is quite shocking.
