Bluesky v Twitter lactation and toxicity

Like many, I heard about Twitter having been taken over by the evil Elon Musk, and I worried, even though I had never used it.
I heard that the "good people" had migrated to Bluesky. Because Twitter is toxic.
Some time later, maybe two years ago, I was peaked by gender ideology and found my way to twitter.

I set up an account. I also set up a Bluesky account. Very quickly, I had it's deleted from Bluesky for "hate" although I never posted anything hateful. I am always respectful courteous and honest.
No such problem on Twitter.
I am Irish, a mother and a breast cancer survivor so this month I am horrified at the news that the ALCI, a government funded organisation, was going platform an individual who advocated helping males breastfeed, for "fun, curiosity and sexual gratification", and who suggested overcoming newborn reluctance to suckle male nipples by approaching them when they're sleeping, in a darkened room.
Twitter helped highlight this.
I was curious to see the reaction on Bluesky.
When you search "lactation" on Twitter, you will find hundreds posts about this major child safeguarding crisis. Do check
When you search "lactation" on Bluesky, you will find nothing but disgusting fetish porn. Only check if you're confident you can hold your dinner within.
So which is toxic.

I'm not on either platform OP, can you provide some screen shots or links or something? I am equality disgusted that a phrase like that: for "fun, curiosity and sexual gratification" could be associated to lactation, and feel the idea of approaching newborns while they are asleep in a darkened room has shades of the #eyecheck rape academy shit. How can people be blind to this? Why are men not ashamed of this behaviour and how can women support it?

Thanks for posting this.

And your post perfectly illustrates that the lived reality for women is completely erased by male fetish obsessions.

I am on neither X of Bluesky, and not having much hope in MANkind am not surprised to find all the men who were so proud of boycotting Musk have proved how shallow and insincere they are.

Not sure how you survive on X because it seems quite a hostile environment, but if it is giving you access to information and ideas that you want to engage with, that seems a plus.

I do note, however, that since checking this morning ,the Irish ALCI scandal is in "latest" posts, it was posted 6 hours ago. No one has commented. There are pages and pages of reports and commentary about this on Twitter. I didn't come across any porn or fetish posts on my search in Twitter. See attached latest posts from Bluesky (including the solitary Jacob Englesman post with zero response).

There are so many porn images, however, that the word "lactation" will forever sicken me, going forwards.

Besides any other aspect of this horror show, do they really think that approaching the baby in a darkened room is going to work? If they think rhe baby won't know and will happily go along with their fetish then they are even more deluded than I thought they were

OP, believe me when I say that I never do this, but do we really need another thread on the topic of disgusting men and their perversions re breastfeeding? The ALCI thread has quite enough information to be getting on with, and I'm sure we can all use our imaginations when it comes to the kinds of things that such men post online. (although I would rather not, and will not)

If others think it's worthwhile, I suppose they'll post here, and, as we always say, if I don't like the thread, I can just avoid it. So I shall. I just think a thread like this will attract prurient interest, and I don't think there's any need for it. The original thread is upsetting enough.

I'm on Twitter and Bluesky. I agree that Twitter is a much freer site. I find Bluesky a bit boring and has really low levels of engagement. I was blocked by Jolyon Maugham for asking a question about evidence-based medicine for trans-identifying children. So I basically go on ask a question of some TRA then get blocked by them. It's quite soothing.
