NHS and single sex spaces

Thanks for the share token. The NHS is the UK’s biggest employer and biggest heath service provider and It’s shocking that NHS England policy is not in line with the law. The majority of hospital trusts just follow NHSE guidance. The EHRC have said they have the power to act in situations where organisations are in breach of the law. Why are not forcing the NHS to comply? You would think this would be a priority for them.

I was in an A&E ward the other week and a young man turned up in the bed beside me. I was just mentally gearing up for a discussion about my wellbeing and the law when he started howling about being a werewolf, and they moved me. I could still see that bed which was soon empty. My friend, an astronomer, assured me that the full moon was a few weeks off. If they have to be dealing with that sort of thing often, I'm not surprised they regard trans as harmless.
But the law applies. No exceptions for werewolves, vampires etc - all, oddly, male.

I was thinking that. Kishwar Faulkner said they don't have much funding so perhaps they're holding fire in case Yvette Cooper acts.
I think they are going to have to do some actual enforcement but I think it involves investigations so is expensive.
Surely they could put NHS on notice. This situation is ridiculous.
