Have you consulted groups like Rights of Women https://www.rightsofwomen.org.uk/get-advice/family-law/

Or Centre for Women's Justice https://www.centreforwomensjustice.org.uk/

And if the survivor concerned has had support from Women's Aid they should have advice via their support service.

Its quite a specific set of knowledge.

And of coure the difference between what should be done, and what the police actually do.

Family law advice - Rights of Women

No - sorry to be brusque but the whole point is that there will be a meeting first thing tomorrw and I need URGENT advice from feminists about the Met's obligations wrt complaints about VAWG.

You asked for advice re statutory obligations.

Feminists opinions or campaign objectives rarely match "statutory obligations"!

Although feminists groups with legal training might have been able to tell you the gap between the ideal and the reality.
