These are the words of the head of the General Medical Council, the organisation who regulate doctors.

Over the past six months I have put a series of FOI requests into medical regulators that have found that only 53 out of nearly 1,000 cases where sexual misconduct has been reported lead to a doctor being suspended or erased (struck off).

I hate feeling paranoid but would go as far as suggesting that the NHS has some predators in very senior positions. What other explanation could there be for the repeated failures to deal with the tsunami of sexual assaults on patients and staff. Scandal after scandal and as for their enthusiasm for wedging men anywhere where women are undressed or vulnerable?
