Happy Terfmas - JKR 3D printable Xmas Bauble

Fionne Orlander on X has shared a plan to print a 3d "JKR smoking a cigar Xmas bauble".

I've contacted local printer to see if they can print one for me.

Does anyone know if you can paint 3D printed things?

Anyway wanted to share with you all as I think its fabulous - though god knows what it will look like in the end.

Delete some files off your printer memory card as a first try fix - if it fails at the same point over again it quite often is that.

Love the way the bit you hang the bauble from looks like a little crown!

Local 3D printer has been in touch & I've sent him the file.

I wonder if I will hear back once he realises who it is? Its quite woke around these parts these days.

Yes I have had other local creator small businesses be very excited when I've commissioned them to make stuff for a feminist charity and then totally ghost me when they have realised its for a "not the fun kind" of feminist charity.

Husband got it to print first time and has primed it for me. Need to raid daughter’s paint supply this weekend!

The gay cake, iirc, ended with the bakers winning because they would have made the gay couple a cake but not with the slogan they wanted because it was against their Christian beliefs. In your case the business withdrew their offer of service because...? If they were cool with printing stickers, say, until they saw the slogan that might be similar. If they were cool with printing stickers and the slogan until you said you wanted them for an LGB Alliance meeting or a 3rd party told them you were a massive terf that, I think, would be actionable. But IANAL, and who has then energy, or the money?

I hope it doesn't come to that.
