In a case echoing the Pelicot trial, dozens of women allege they were given hot drinks mixed with a diuretic to make them urinate.

In 2019, removed from the ministry and the civil service, Nègre was placed under formal investigation on several charges ranging from drugging to sexual assault. His lawyer, Vanessa Stein, said he would not comment while the investigation continues. Awaiting trial, Nègre has been able to continue working in the private sector.

Louise Beriot, a lawyer for several of the women, said of the alleged druggings: “Under the pretext of a sexual fantasy, this is about power and domination over women’s bodies … through humiliation and control.”

Alarming!

What an absolute weirdo

The details are awful, poor women

I think this is one of those, " women have no idea how much men hate them" moments

Wetoldyousaurus · 02/12/2025 08:47

I keep thinking about this. How a reversal of the sexes is inconceivable. And so how this kind of case illustrates why women must always, always be skeptical of men. All men.

Absolutely agree

I first read this late last night and thought whaaaaaaaaaaaat? That I must have misread. What complete weirdo would even think like this let alone carry it out.

And in his workplace. The conficence that the women wouldn't complain.

Just wakes you think that there are men all over the place fulfilling their sick fantasies at the expense of women.

Gross and depresseing.

It's so weird I almost wish I hadn't read it.

These poor women must be have such complicated feelings to process.

I read about this the other day and added it to my mental litany of 'extreme things actual men have actually done' which I then recall when women are jeered at or scolded for having 'moral panics' over 'things men might do.'
