Police then uncovered evidence pointing to a years-long pattern of drug-facilitated abuse - known in France as 'chemical submission' - a form of assault that has drawn growing national attention.

Despite being removed from the civil service in 2019, Nègre has been able to continue working in the private sector while the case drags on.

Louise Beriot, a lawyer for several of the women, said of the alleged druggings: 'Under the pretext of a sexual fantasy, this is about power and domination over women’s bodies … through humiliation and control.'

Lawyers representing several of the women say the six-year delay in bringing the case to trial amounts to 'secondary victimisation', compounding the trauma of those involved.

He did this in job interviews.

Christian Nègre is under formal investigation over claims he laced coffees and teas before taking candidates on long 'walking interviews'.

That’s horrible. Twisted fucker.

selffellatingouroborosofhate · 27/11/2025 06:06

WTF is wrong with French drug laws that men like this twat and Pelicot can get hold of the drugs they abuse women with so easily?

Can't say for this jerk but Pelicot was rapist buddy with a male nurse who was his main provider. And France is infamously the #1 country in the world for antidepressants and sleeping drugs

Igmum · 27/11/2025 06:33

OMG that man is vile. I hope they throw away the key.

deadpan · 27/11/2025 07:12

Jesus Christ is there nothing men won't do

Figcherry · 27/11/2025 07:27

Neil Foden the headteacher at Friars in Bangor used to ply his schoolgirl victims with water and then press on their bladders until they wet themselves.

The older I get the more I wonder why some humans are so depraved, men who are objectively intelligent. It’s just sickening.

ArabellaSaurus · 27/11/2025 07:29

WTF, France?

Starting to wonder if I will ever want to visit the country again.

AMansAManForAllThat · 27/11/2025 07:52

Grim. And hard to protect yourself from- who could have imagined it?

The common denominator here isn't France...

Toilets and male power trips over women.
For sexual gratification.

'Not all men' they whine ..
Yet somehow, its always men!

Apparently not.

And as social norms are eroded in our current trend of liberal sex positivity, everything goes, and all kinks to be openly lauded and celebrated (eg furries and so much more), what men can get away with will only get more extreme.

Can you just imagine what young boys and young male teens are being exposed to now thanks to social media and readily accessible online porn? With those images stuck in their brains and fermenting to come out years later as obscene fetishes.

No, of course not. It's just post Pelicot, it seems astonishing that another case of multiple druggings comes up in the same year. I suppose that we have also had Chao Xu here in the UK, although for some reason not so much about that case in the media.

It's men, not French men. What is specific to France, however, is how terribly slow and inefficient (when not ineffective) our justice is. This monster hasn't been judged after six years, and it's not an extraordinarily long delay. The surviving terrorists of the November 2015 attacks were also tried six years after.

Despite not having jury trials? Someone might want to tip David Lammy off about that.

That's a horrific case too - thanks for highlighting.

There's an Extended Child Practice Review Report

SO many concerns raised, and so many missed opportunities, over years.

And he was able to appoint himself Head of Pastoral Care!

Datun · 27/11/2025 13:41

God almighty, that's horrific.

To wet yourself in public is not only humiliating, you'd think there was something terribly physically wrong with you. You'd be straight down the doctors.

It's the sort of thing you would re-live every fucking day.

For him, I hope they throw away the key.

But more importantly, I really, really hope that bringing this into the public domain, will give these women some closure.

MinnieCauldwell · 27/11/2025 13:55

Apparently some men like hearing women pee in the toilets too...there is no end to their depravity

mycatcontrolsmewith5g · 27/11/2025 14:23

this is so weird and disturbing

We have them for most assizes. Pelicot was tried by a popular jury, the November 15 terrorists by a special court with 3 judges (no PJ)

trainedopossum · 27/11/2025 16:49

But not all men 🧐
But changing rooms and toilets should be mixed “like progressive European countries” 🧥
But “just call the police” 🤔
Etcetera

Pelicot was tried by a popular jury

I thought that was judge-only?

Bluebootsgreenboots · 27/11/2025 17:15

This is particularly sickening. The process alone is horrifying, but the fact that these women were there because they wanted to develop their careers meant that he had significant power over them in that moment.
What does it say about the recruitment process that he was able to go wandering around Paris with these women for 'interviews'? Did no one in his management notice?
Once again, someone taking a (comparatively) small indiscretion seriously has led to something horrendously vast being uncovered.

So sorry for my mistake, I've double-checked and the first trial was indeed by professional judges. The appeal (which was fresher in my mind) was in front of a popular jury. Pelicot was not in the appeal trial, he accepted his sentence.

Daytimetellyqueen · 27/11/2025 20:52

Fucking horrendous - WTF is it with these disgusting men??!!!
