Remember it's hate to call him a man, unless he was actually a man only pretending to be a woman and not...a man pretending to be a woman. See the difference there? (No me neither).

How do they know he dressed as a woman? Maybe he dressed as himself, A Woman, while doing that oh-so-womanly activity of rape?

I had thought from the Express article wording that he dressed 'as a woman' as cover to commit the attacks, but this perhaps suggests that it was a sexual motivation.

Will his victims still have to call him “she” in court? Mustn’t hurt a rapist’s feelings. And will he be sent to a women’s prison, where he’ll have plenty more to prey on?

He was convicted some time ago and is now to be released. There is no mention of his gender identity.

Actually it was 2005.

I think back then there was probably a difference made between 'transsexual' and 'cross dresser'. Those two categories have been largely collapsed now into 'transgender'.

Agree. If this had happened now (well, 12 m ago) this poor man would need to be validated by being put in a women’s prison.

As it's England, and his offences were against women, I believe he'd be in a man's prison. In Scotland, who knows.
