Please see this thread and write to RSPB.

If anyone fancies shaming them on Twitter/X then do that too!

I am currently going through an appeal on X so can't post but I have emailed RSPB & pointed out their error.

This is the problematic event posting

These events are welcoming of any adults who identify as women. We also welcome non-binary individuals who feel comfortable in a women’s only space to these sessions.

ffs. I'm a member - I didn't think a bird charity could fall for this crap. I suppose it will save some money to cancel my monthly subscription. I just wish we did have to keep sending letters to idiot organisations.

While you're at it, write to/tweet British Cycling about their 'women only' Breeze programme:
https://www.letsride.co.uk/breeze

And it's worth responding to the current EHRC consultation on how the new code of practice for organisations should be amended:

Breeze

Free bike rides for women, information and inspiration on women's cycling, from HSBC UK Breeze by British Cycling.

FFS, parkrun and now Breeze, all the things I used to love. How depressing.

Breeze has always had this policy. I've been on rides where a burly bloke in a pink hemet has come along and the ride leader has had to include him.

British Cycling have dismissed protests against this now very clearly unlawful policy for years. ☹️

I have seen the official RSPB response to a FB member and it has all the usual bollocks about waiting for "clarity" and being inclusive so I have resigned.
