What happened to the “Resisters” networks?

In light of the recent WRN discussion, someone reminded me of Resisters! They were great!

Does anyone know what happened to them? Were they just over-shadowed by WRN/ LWS?

Yes I think so.

There are still some independent Resisters Groups around but they are not all listed on the Resisters website, which has been dormant for a long time.

I don't know how many of the Resisters Groups that are listed are still running.

Some of them mutated into WRN or LWS Groups. Several of them lost their X accounts when it was Twitter so they might still be in existence but not contactable via the link on the website:

I was in one, we'd meet regularly but to be honest, COVID and the other groups that started around the time kind of overshadowed things. That and the difficulty of meeting up which became harder and harder due to 'views not aligning'.

Then people had to choose which things to attend, and invest in. And then in my area, LWS became a thing and I've not heard a dickie bird since.

I think that Liverpool Resisters are still active.

I left the Resisters group in my city because of their mind-bendingly anti-feminist reaction to October 7.

Leeds are still going.

I love the name, it’s powerful.
