Thank you for this summary.
It makes for very depressing reading, unfortunately.
It's difficult to know where to start!

We dont know if JKR's fund will help those fighting for the rights of all children - Susan Evans case deals with cross sex hormones, Stephen Flaherty is both male and fighting for children - as well as a mother's right to know.

I was just reading Stephen Flaherty, I'm on the mailing list. Sounds like Nottingham College are doubling down. Here's an extract from his email;

In more detail, they’re saying that my informing the mother that they were socially transitioning her daughter (and conspiring to keep this secret from her) doesn’t count as whistleblowing because they’re saying it wasn’t in the Public Interest, that I was wrong to think it was in the Public Interest, and also that I was wrong to think that the college was committing any unlawful acts, or that there was any risk to the student’s well-being, or that the college was deliberately concealing information. They ask that I prove otherwise, which shouldn’t be too difficult as there is copious amounts of proof of all of those. They also say that even if it was a whistleblowing disclosure, that’s not why they sacked me, which is ridiculous as their stated reason for sacking me was that I informed the student’s mother of what the college was doing to her daughter.
Also with the “even if” theme, they’re saying that even if it was whistleblowing, I shouldn’t have done it, as it was “unreasonable”! They’re also saying that I didn’t believe the information I disclosed and/or that I did it for personal gain! Again, they’re saying I need to prove otherwise, though it seems to me that if they’re alleging deceit or personal gain on my behalf then they need to prove that, rather than the other way around. I’ll talk to my lawyer about this.
Regarding Belief Discrimination, they’re saying that they don’t believe Gender Critical beliefs are Protected Philosophical Beliefs, despite Forstater and all the cases since (which I sent a list of to the college when they suspended me). And, even if, that’s not why they fired me. And, even if, they didn’t know I had those beliefs (despite these beliefs being one of the 3 charges against me, which they investigated and decided to charge me with). And, even if, me having these beliefs had no effect on the outcome of my case (despite them spending an awful lot of time and effort trying to prove I had them and had exhibited them)!

Stehen has not put the update on his crowdfunder. He has quite a fight on his hands and I'd hope to see more support from people on here.
