There’s been some discussion on TwiX as to whether he was always on our side - something to do with a spat in 2021 where lots of people got blocked - but even if that’s the case I’m happy for a golden bridge to happen.

TBH I’m just relieved to find comedians it’s safe to see again, over the last 10 years or so I’ve become so fed up with the JKR jibes and virtue signalling that seemed to be so fashionable (and enthusiastically applauded).

Oh please oh please... that is SUCH a good sign. When it is fine to laugh at the "sacred caste" they become less sacred and more visible...

He definitely was making very ill-informed comments a few years back. Some people can be forgiven, I think, especially if they make us laugh.

He has said some of it was misunderstood. But I can’t remember what happened so others will know more than me. He does also state this material was from a few years ago and he’s just reposted it.

he has penned a fulsome apology which i am going to take at face value because he really is very funny. I was hugely disappointed at the time.

This clip won't cut it for me. The genderists always claim there is a difference between men pretending to be women and men pretending to be men pretending to be women. Never explain how you tell the difference. Possibly the italics?

He's just changing his routine to stay relevant. I doubt very much he has suddenly started caring about women's rights.

Agree. Didn't he tweet something about western GC feminists not caring about Iranian women? But he had already blocked loads of GC feminists on twitter so people couldn't tell him he was wrong

Not keen on Omid Djalili for the reasons above (a shame because I saw him live years ago and he was very good) but as a general trend - goodness, I hope so!

To answer your question I do not feel sorry for any biological male who has been barred from women’s sport. If a Trans person was insulted by my stand up clip and not bothered by the notion of men pretending to be Trans then I suggest a re-evaluation.

Sounds to me like he's saying Men pretending to be women fine. Men pretending to be trans, not fine. Perhaps I'm just reading it wrong
