Very interesting discussion on how the media and particularly the BBC has reported on trans issues over the years, the impact of who they went to for advice, how the style guide has impacted, how clarity has been lost from reporting.

Even the BBC is finally changing its tone. Although continuing to talk about “trans women” without explaining what the is means, i.e. biological males, the Media Show did cover the issue of misrepresentation of sex offenders being reported according to their gender identity which was a first. Still trying to make out it is just small numbers of feminists objecting though.

Woman’s hour has been the biggest let down.
i just checked today’s episode listing and no mention of coverage on the recent FA announcement. It’s a headline everywhere and affects women and girls but….tumbleweed
