While the news outlets seem intent on hearing from men affected by the Supreme Court Ruling.. can we share here, any articles or interviews of the women behind this case or indeed, any women who agree with the ruling..

I would love to see if these amazing women or other women ... have been given a chance to have their words explaining why this is important for women, heard, reported and shared in other places - please add..

And thank you to Marion Calder, Trina Budge and Susan Smith - let's remember their names!

Edinburgh woman behind controversial court ruling flooded with hate mail and threats

Marion Calder, a single mum from the city, set up campaign group, For Women Scotland, alongside Susan Smith and Trina Budge that has won a three-year battle at the Supreme Court.

@MNHQ Please invite them for a webchat!

Absolutely, bloody amazing women. 👏

Hadley Freeman interviewed them for The Sunday Times. It’ll be paywalled but someone might have a token.

loveyouradvice · 24/04/2025 16:36

Yes please - I have been SO shocked how they've not been interviewed and high profile everywhere....

needmoresheep · 24/04/2025 16:47

The TRAs are still hounding them and saying dreadful things such

“You stupid women should feel deeply ashamed for being so stupid” and that they “deserve death”.

So typical to read that the TRAs still want to put the ‘stupid’ women in their place and bring back executions for any female who doesn’t agree with them.

PerformativeBewilderment · 24/04/2025 17:32

Oh bum, that’s not Hadley’s interview but a story that draws quotes from it.

Here is the actual interview, via the archive:
