I love this programme anyway but the last few mins of tonight's episode was absolute chef's kiss. An aural take down/exposure of Stonewall to the tune of Crispian St Peter's Pied Piper. Listen on BBC sounds if you can.

That was great. I think it should be played far and wide.

Imagine thinking there were no repercussions in advising a flawed interpretation of the law into government and organisations to shape policy while then awarding those who followed with diversity recognition awards which meant the public felt lovely supporting those organisations. Only to be found that the organisations couldn’t even then claim Stonewall misled them legally because Stonewall protected all advice saying it should be verified independently so it was the organisations who were being sued alone. All while telling women and LGB people they were bigoted and giving support to flawed medical treatment.

And then came the Cass report and now finally the SC judgement.

The power of lobby groups, eh? They will be a case study for the future. And Nancy Kelly had already abandoned ship so will have some buffering from the mess she left.

I came on to post about this. I also thoroughly enjoyed the segment of previous labour MP statements about what a woman is.
