I am hopeless at X links but DennisTheInclusive made me laugh:

I think JKR is the queen of tweets. She absolutely nails the format.

It's quite a light-hearted account where he asks everyone their favourite cheese (no matter why the topic being discussed 😄), but he has such contempt for the fox clubber that he doesn't want to know what his is (and he's even asked Putin).

I’m not even on X but I was reading Nitter all day yesterday. So many funny posts. And yes, JKR’s feed is particularly funny. But then I’m just a nauseating sycophant for JKR, apparently!

Loved the “I love it when a plan comes together”, with a pic of her smoking a cigar and a tumbler of whiskey(?) in her hand. A-Team, indeed.

Well there’s an admission …oh, maybe he’s confused about who’s had the book burning, death threat, silencing mentality?

I have a feeling we're going to get a lot less pass agg mansplaining and dismissive commentary on these threads henceforth.

In a way I'm gonna miss 'em. The fact that they operated within a total logic vacuum whilst adopting Maughamian levels of misplaced didacticism made them very funny.

My top 3 fave themes, fwiw, were always:

• But why do you care so much? It won't affect you (but even if it DOES affect you, that would be a good thing, and here's why!)
• You don't understand transgenderism. It must be because you're old. Step aside dinosaurs, the progressives are in charge now!
• You do realise that Black women will be kicked out of women's bathrooms if they're made single space don't you? Shut up and accept it, bigot!

Reading threads like those makes me beyond grateful that there are plenty of women who are the opposite of that. Frankly you need to be obsessive to fight this, the tentacles are everywhere.

Well that’s more than what I’ve got, which has been radio silence except you know, we’re all anti trans. They can’t evidence the how or why, just we’re anti-trans!

I do hope that Graham Linehan might now be allowed out of the showbiz Siberian gulag and back into the fold as a beloved and respected giant of comedy. But I doubt it :-(
