National Children’s Bureau (NCB) Gender Diversity Advisory Group

The NCB is setting up a a Gender Diversity Advisory Group as part of the NHS PATHWAYS programme. The group will advise on what NCB describes as a “more inclusive approach” to gender identity and diversity for young people.

To take part you should be a parent carer to a teenager or young adult who has 'lived experience' of gender diversity. This could include your child:

  • Being transgender
  • Being gender questioning
  • Identifying, or previously having identified, as non-binary
  • Identifying, or previously having identified, as transgender
  • Young people who have transitioned or de-transitioned

I'm sure parents on this board can see the benefits of group members coming from a sex realist perspective.
