The NCB is setting up a a Gender Diversity Advisory Group as part of the NHS PATHWAYS programme. The group will advise on what NCB describes as a “more inclusive approach” to gender identity and diversity for young people.
To take part you should be a parent carer to a teenager or young adult who has 'lived experience' of gender diversity. This could include your child:
- Being transgender
- Being gender questioning
- Identifying, or previously having identified, as non-binary
- Identifying, or previously having identified, as transgender
- Young people who have transitioned or de-transitioned
I'm sure parents on this board can see the benefits of group members coming from a sex realist perspective.
Link to register interest is here. Deadline is 27th April
