Brett Cooper with Chloe Cole on detransitioner awareness

Brett Cooper has an episode up on transitioning minors in the US, with extensive comments from Chloe Cole.

Very good to have Brett Cooper on this - young women are not the target demographic for conservative media, but lots of girls are Brett superfans, and amplifying Chloe's voice is important.

I also like Brett's point that the US needs its own Cass Review,

Chloe Cole is an amazing brave. She must be to continue with all the abuse she gets.

‘ Thanks to the detransitioners America is getting it’s own Cass Review’
That’s got to be great news.

I came across this article and thought it might be relevant to this thread:

Thanks Utopia.

I wonder though who the loud mouthed gender critical social media people are that are referred to. It comes across like this writer may have only a superficial understanding of the issues causing division and may have an uninformed and biased view themselves.

This is interesting too!

I was wondering about that too, also I keep a good eye on TwiX and I’ve don’t believe I’ve seen anyone trying to use detransitioners as an ‘army’. But at the same time, I understand the independent point of view that some of the detransitioners have: they need to work out who they are and what they want now that they’ve rejected Genderism and they probably don’t want to run the risk of being sucked into any other groups that might expect conformity of them.

Edited to add: I’ve seen quite a few of the male writers who’ve joined this rejection of Genderism completely fail to understand the RadFem or GC Feminist point of view. They know enough about Genderism to know that they object to medicalising children, they reject males in female sport and reject males in female spaces but they seem perfectly fine with Western societies’ gendered stereotypes in general and see no need to interrogate them for their potentially harmful effect.

I'm glad Brett Cooper is amplifying detransitioners. She's doing v good work here.

I find her whole 'I celebrate that men built civilisation' & ' don't sit in a cubicle, be with your baby' shtick very funny considering she's got such a vibrant career herself. But this is great work, at least.
