It's good to see the BBC reporting on this. A day of reports, pictures, interviews, and you can send in questions.

Women in Afghanistan: Spend a day with those living under Taliban rule

The BBC is spending the day with women across Afghanistan to understand what their lives look like under the Taliban government.

Thank you for sharing this report, Arabella.
This has prompted me to ask the names of any charities that are still able to support women in Afghanistan. Since it's IWD tomorrow I'd like to make a donation.
Thanks

Good. And that's a great idea CoffeePot.

Thanks for posting that link Arabella. It’s heartbreaking to hear about the daily lives of these women and girls. I don’t understand why Western governments aren’t doing more to help them or to counter the Taliban.

Thanks, Arabella. That's great. It's only a small donation but at least I feel I have done something to support women's rights for IWD 2025.
