From Claire Coutinho - a response to her writtne question on the number of response the governemnt received.

"The Government dragged its heels on publishing the data from our bad guidance consultation on single sex spaces for MONTHS, only publishing it after we repeatedly pushed them to do so.

Now they admit that rather than the 400 responses they told us about, there were actually 3,272 submissions from the public. That means 88% were ruled out.

Worse still, the Government have shared just 42 responses - that’s 1% - with the EHRC. Tonight I have asked them to publish all submissions and share them with the EHRC.

People who are putting forward bad guidance on single-sex spaces and services include the police, NHS Trusts and charities that advise schools. They are putting women and girls at risk of harm.

We deserve a full picture and the people who submitted evidence in good faith deserve their testimony to be looked at properly."

The EHRC have already written to the Government asking to see all responses. Discussed on earlier thread, but cant remember which one.

Shame she tried to make it look like it is her innitiative rather than asking why the Government hasn't shared them with the EHRC who asked for them before Christmas.

Particularly as the Government has off loaded the problem onto the EHRC by delegating them to write better guidelines. But witholding information that could show what the problem is.

Just Labour trying to cover up the fact that the SSE but women as second tier citizens, and the SSE are their creation.

1%? That's an insult.

FFS. That's shocking that they have tried to hide the vast majority of the responses. There must be submissions from TRAs in there too though? They can't all be gender critical can they?

I'm surprised they didn't bless us with a fucking word cloud.

Just seen this. I suppose it's the equivalent of #nodebate / the dog ate my homework and a determination not to be held account for their failures.

Why is this government repeatedly found to be deceptive and lacking in morals / ethics / honesty?
