Old Vic toilets

Went to the Old Vic yesterday. Christmas Carol, amazing show. Fucking annoying toilet labelling.
'12 cubicles", 'Urinals, 1 cubicle'

I saw an elderly woman emerge from the one labelled urinals looking a bit confused and worried and went into the other one, obviously had not understood that was the mens. Also the cubicles in the ladies (or the 12 cubicles) were not floor to ceiling so I felt quite uncomfortable that there was actually a man standing in there while I was in the toilet. He appeared to be holding his wife's coat, rather than any nefarious reason but I still would have felt happier if he was outside.

The Old Vic sent me a survey to complete so I took the opportunity to complain about their toilet labelling. In case anyone else wants to do the same here's the link. https://uk.surveymonkey.com/r/OVpostvisit?promo=36317

NB Only after Dolatowski committed further offences did the local paper manage to get a photograph of what he really looked like.

Three pics of D in this article: one filtered; two unfiltered.

What do all of you do in small cafes that have 1 toilet? Coaches? Trains? Airplanes?

And I'll say it again, in case those in the back couldn't hear me when I've said it before.

A MAN WILL NOT DRESS AS A WOMAN TO ATTACK A WOMAN. HE'LL DO IT REGARDLESS. A SIGN WON'T CHANGE THAT.

Actually, transvestism is a well known sexual fetish for serial killers. Just saying.

I remember an article from a crime investigator that when they did their training, there was a warning that voyeurism, flashing etc by male people towards female people often escalated into sexual violence and worse against female people. And that dressing in feminine clothes whilst doing this was a warning on its own.
Later when this investigator went back for more training, they weren't even allowed to mention all of this behaviour as it might reflect badly on the trans community.

So yes, male people wearing feminine clothes ignoring female people's boundaries is a massive warning light. But one we are now supposed to ignore because you don't know what their reasons are to do this: genuine gender dysphoria or sexual fetish. And female people should just assume it is the former and take the risk.

I think not.

I remember that article! It was very eye opening. I don’t suppose you have a link to it, do you? I thought I had kept one, but don’t seem to be able to find it.

It was a message on X from Diana Alastair, an American police officer:

Thank you!! Ugh, reading it through again makes me feel…. I don’t know. Validated? And angry, of course.

I found a Threadreader Unroll of the thread, it's easier to read (and doesn't have the TRA comments below).
