Rape Crisis Scotland received complaints that Chief Executive Sandy Brindley's actions amounted to a data breach but has since been cleared by the charity's Board of Directors.
... a spokeswoman for Rape Crisis Scotland said: “Rape Crisis Scotland has undertaken a robust review – supported by external legal advice – on the complaints received and specifically of the circumstances the complaints concern.
“The review established, and the legal advice confirmed, that there was no breach of data protection laws, and no notification was required to be made to the ICO.”
